

A small family owned salsa business ready to add to your meal, party, and life! At Macho Nacho we focus on using clean, simple ingredients to make a salsa that we are proud to sell.

Who is Macho Nacho exactly, and how did they we get started.
Macho Nacho is a sibling owned company that is based out of Western Illinois and Eastern Missouri. When we had downtime during Covid (Remember that?!) we decided to try our hand at a food truck and decided to serve high quality nachos and tacos. We focused on using only the best cheese, meats, and were very picky on our Pico-de-Gallo. As we began to build our business up, the common question we received was "Do you make your own salsa?". At the beginning of the journey that answer was always "No"... but we received the question so many times that we eventually figured out a way to make it "yes". We had never personally made salsa before this endeavor so the learning curve was great. For the original salsa recipe, we settled on a base recipe and made 14 revisions before picking what we have today. From there, we continued to add to the portfolio. We sold the food trailer in 2024 and focused on the salsa side of the business. We launch the website in June 2025 and hope to continue growing!

The Early Days
We began in a tent, transporting coolers of food and drinks to begin our food truck journey in late 2020
